GETAFE/Society (02/09/2024) – The Getafe City Council is making available to residents a wide range of municipal activities and workshops in all neighborhoods for the 2024-2025 academic year. Among the many activities offered, those related to the arts and crafts sector continue to be the most in demand. crafts, all types of dance, as well as those for improving physical fitness at all ages.
As explained by the Councillor for Citizen Participation and Action in Neighbourhoods, Ana Isabel González“We have created a diverse range of activities so that residents of all ages can enjoy their free time and fill the neighbourhoods and community spaces of our municipality with life.”
The range of activities is one of the most extensive on offer and covers subjects from the artistic to the cultural, sports, physical and mental well-being. In addition, it is suitable for all ages, so any resident of Getafe can have an activity adapted to their tastes. As was the case last year, the activities of the Centro Cívico de las Margaritas will be moved to the Centro Las Moreras, located at Calle Madrid 143, due to the remodeling works being carried out at said Civic Center, whose completion is scheduled for the end of 2024.
Las Pre-registrations can be made in person and online, from September 9 to September 16. On the website ocio.getafe.es you can pre-register online. The draw will take place on September 19after which people who have been assigned an activity will be able to formalize their registration between September 24 and October 1.
