From Ukraine to New York
An assault the previous year had affected him greatly. But, a man of character, he had regained the upper hand, supported by his closest friend and neighbor, Jacky Laborde. In his career, he met many other artists, including Fujita and Picasso. He exhibited at the Mouf’t art gallery in Paris as well as at Drouot.
He has also exhibited several times in Ukraine, a country dear to him, in London and New York. Saint-Jean-de-Luz hosted his works including his “Boléro de Ravel”. The Ramuntcho salon of the mayor of Anglet houses a large diptych. We find his paintings in the cathedral of Rouen, in the basilica of Lourdes. He also made the Stations of the Cross in the church of Cauterets and a triptych presented in the entrance to the town hall of Tarnos.
