A garage owner on Kononos Street in Pagrati lived through nightmares when a former employee attacked him with a knife and caused damage to parked vehicles.
“He was calling me, telling me ‘I’m going to slaughter you, I’m going to kill you.’ She made out with a guy I had at work. He had gone in, broken the cash register. He was holding a helmet in his hand, threw it at my head and lunged at me with a knife. I ate it in my hand, because I put it in front to protect myself”said the garage owner.
What he experienced was recorded by security cameras.
The man moves menacingly towards the garage owner and after first throwing his helmet at his head, then pulls out a kitchen knife and stabs him in the arm.
Another young man, who is there, tries to restrain the assailant but he turns and attacks him.
It’s a little after 20:30 in the evening in the center of Pakrati and while people are passing by outside the parking lot.
The assailant finally drops the knife, gets back on his bike and disappears. However, this was not the end.
He came back furious
The police quickly arrived at the parking lot and the injured owner was taken to the hospital for first aid to the wound on his arm. But then he made the mistake of going back to his business.
“I went to the hospital, they stitched up my wound and when I came back the phone calls continued. I called 100, they came and told me to take me to the department for protection. He came back with a knife, he was looking for me here and he started to pop the tires of the cars”said the garage owner.
The man stabbed dozens of car tires in his rage at 4:30 in the morning, with a kitchen knife in his hands, until he finally fell into the hands of the police who managed to immobilize him.
“I had him in my business and I was trying to help him. I asked him, because his behavior was like that, not to come here. It was bad for me, I didn’t want it. He didn’t say anything to me and suddenly I found out that he went downstairs and threatened the man who was working”added the garage owner.
