Padula, the sterilization campaign to combat stray dogs begins

The municipal administration of Padula has promoted a free sterilization campaign for owner dogs, reserved for citizens residing in the municipality of Padula.

The initiative aims to combat stray animals, to promote responsible ownership, to reduce the costs relating to the management of the phenomenon of stray animals borne by the Municipal Administration and to control urban hygiene.

The services will be accepted in the order of arrival according to the municipal protocol and until available funds are exhausted. The objective of the initiative is to sterilize 50 dogs (40 females and 10 males).

To access the service, registration of animals at the Pet Animal Registry, with relative microchipping, is mandatory.

The request can be made for only one animal for each family unit and must be drawn up on a specific form, to be delivered to the protocol office or sent to the certified email address [email protected].

After submitting the application, the competent office will forward to the applicant the written authorization for the health service to be provided to the veterinary doctor for the sterilization of the dog.

The veterinary doctors participating in the initiative, in possession of the regional accreditation required for the canine registry, are Dr. Doris Salluzzi, with a clinic in Via Giocatori in Sala Consilina, Dr. Elisa Utizi, with a clinic in Via Contrada Barra 31 in Sala Consilina, and Dr. Andrea Garone.
