The goalkeeper of Paços de Ferreira, Marafona, was punished by the Disciplinary Council of the Portuguese Football Federation (FPF) with three games due to the incidents of the meeting last Saturday, in Guimarães, where the Portuguese international was expelled, in the 77th minute .
Marafona was shown a yellow card for taking too long to take the goal kick, protested and then received a red card and expulsion order. After that, he protested vehemently with Gustavo Correia and even touched his head to the match referee, having to be grabbed by his teammates.
The guardian of Paços was punished for “injuries and offenses to the reputation” of the referee and will still have to pay a fine of 2100 euros.
