Paco Treviño benefits Juarez families with the rehabilitation of Parque Lineal

Juárez, NL.- Mayor Francisco Treviño Cantú inaugurated the integral rehabilitation of the Linear Park of Colonia Los Encinos, where exercise equipment, more children’s games and, above all, an efficient lighting system were installed for the safety of hundreds of families.

In addition to building wide sidewalks in the park for residents to go for a walk, the Juárez Administration also carried out resurfacing work on nearby road arteries, thus achieving a complete improvement in the environment of this sector.

“I am very happy, very excited, because after so many years of requesting it, today it is a reality that they are having this beautiful park, which is well lit, with decent games for our children, and also outdoor gym equipment. that the neighbors had requested so much,” said Paco Treviño.

The Mayor stressed that in addition to the rehabilitation of the park, resurfacing works were also carried out on the streets, with which the total cost of the investment was 7 million pesos.

“What comes to be this public work of the Parque Lineal here in Los Encinos that consisted of lights, games (and other complementary works) had a cost of 3 million 750 thousand pesos,” he reported.

“And also weeks before here we fixed the streets, which were totally deteriorated, in many years they had not been touched. New pavement was put in, and as a whole with these streets that were also paved, making a total value (investment), between the park and the paving, of 7 million pesos”, added the Mayor.
He asked the neighbors to take care of the park and to report when they see people vandalizing or misusing the facilities.

“We entrust them with the good care of the park, and that they help us report if the facilities are being vandalized, if they see that someone is causing damage, they let us know immediately,” said Paco Treviño.
