Packers win sixth win by beating Washington 24-10

Aaron Rodgers threw three touchdown passes and the Green Bay Packers defeated Washington 24-10 on Sunday to win their sixth straight game.

Washington outscored Green Bay 430-304 in total yards but had five trips within the Packers 30-yard line without scoring points, including successive offensive drives that ended within the five-yard line. Leading up to Sunday, the Packers’ rivals had scored touchdowns every time they entered the red zone.

The Packers (6-1) haven’t lost since losing in week one, when they were beaten 38-3 by the New Orleans Saints. Green Bay enters a difficult phase of its schedule in which it will visit Arizona on Thursday night and Kansas City on November 7.

Washington (2-5) suffered its third loss in a row.

Rodgers completed 27 of 35 passes for 274 yards with touchdown passes to Davante Adams, Allen Lazard and Robert Tonyan.

For Washington, Taylor Heinicke finished with 25 successful passes of 36 attempts for 268 yards with a touchdown pass and an interception. Plus, he was the game’s rushing leader with 95 yards on 10 carries.
