Jakarta – The property company controlled by Indonesian pulp and paper tycoon Sukanto Tanonot, Pacific Eagle Real Estate, has reportedly just bought a super luxury hotel in Shanghai from Chinese developer, Dalian Wanda Group.
It was not explained in detail how much transaction value was paid in the luxury hotel sale and purchase agreement.
However, the Mingtiandi real estate site quoted by detikcom, Thursday (4/1/2024), reported that Pacific Eagle could pay as much as RMB 1.7 billion or the equivalent of US$ 240 million or Rp. 3.72 trillion (exchange rate of Rp. 15,500/US$ ) to buy the hotel which has the name Wanda Reign on the Bund.
