Pacers vs Bucks: Haliburton’s Triple-Double Leads Indiana to Victory in Eastern Conference Playoff Series

Lose Pacers from Indiana withstood a late onslaught by the Milwaukee Bucks in overtime this past Friday and managed to win 121-118, putting the NBA Eastern Conference playoff series 2-1 in their favor.

Tyrese Haliburton had a triple-double of 18 points, 10 rebounds and 16 assists to help the Pacers hold off 42 points from Milwaukee forward Khris Middleton, who scored three times to tie with 2, 3 seconds left in regulation at 118-118 with eight seconds left in overtime.

With 1.6 seconds left in overtime, Haliburton received an inbounds pass and broke through the Bucks defense for a one-handed shot.

After getting fouled, he took the free throw to close out the scoring. Middleton, playing with a sprained right ankle, was unable to produce another three-point miracle as time expired.

Pacers and Bucks will feature in an exciting playoff series

The Pacers, who will try to extend their lead when they host Game 4 on Sunday, escaped with a victory in a game they led by 19 points in the first quarter and 17 in the third.

With two-time NBA MVP Giannis Antetokounmpo still sidelined with a calf injury, the Bucks couldn’t match Indiana’s fast pace.
