This is a request from Olivier Frapolli in this transfer window, to strengthen himself in attack. The Stade Lavallois coach would like to expand his offensive sector with, at least, an arrival this winter. A recruit who could support or replace Malik Tchokounté and provide a little more competition in attack.
As with each transfer window, Laval leaders have drawn up a list of potential names. Among them, that of Pablo Pages (21 years old) as recently indicated West France, information that we are able to confirm. The young attacking midfielder from FC Lorient is capable of playing in several positions on the attacking front and his club is keen to loan him out this winter. He had already been there last year in Nîmes (35 matches, 8 goals, 4 assists) before returning to Brittany after a very successful stint. This year, he plays much less with only three Ligue 1 matches (167 minutes).
A time for reflection
The attacking midfielder is spoiled for choice while serious contenders jostle for it: Guingamp, Pau, Saint-Etienne and Concarneau in particular. According to our information, even if contacts are advanced with the EAG, Stade Lavallois is not out of the running and even has serious arguments to put forward. Pablo Pagis should make a decision in the next two to three days.
A choice which is not rushed in order to calmly prepare for the Coupe de France match which arrives on Saturday in Sochaux. A special meeting for the son of Mickaël Pagis, former Laval player, since he was born in Montbéliard when his father played there in 2002.
