P1: still no victory for a two-faced Montignies

The storms got the better of the Montagnards on Saturday evening. Dominant until the stoppage due to the flood, the Carolos collapsed as soon as the game returned.

This had already been the case several times this season, the Montagnards completely failed after having, however, delivered an excellent first hour. If, last weekend, it was the drinks break that had stopped the Montagnards in their tracks, it was the storm that, this time, prevented Jean-Louis D’Accchile’s team from signing its first success of the season.

A flash and then the grayness

Because everything had started well for the Blues who even managed to quickly open the score. A domination that lasted until the 57th and the fatal twenty-minute break. Because the Carolos collapsed, then, letting Pays Blanc win 1-3 in all relaxation. At the Yernaux stadium, people grimace. “It tends to repeat itself, Achilles creaks. We let the debate slip away after having shone for a good part of the match. We need a victory to get us going and I hope we won’t have to wait too long for it…”
Having brilliantly returned to P1 a year after leaving the elite, Montignies has not yet found the right rhythm.
