Pavlos Marinakis denies the publication of “Estias” according to which the prime minister’s wife, Mareva Grabovski, sent a message to Vangelis Marinakis calling for a truce after the publication of Vimas about the editing of Tempos.
“Once again the red line of obscenity has been crossed. The newspaper “Estia” did not hesitate to target the prime minister’s wife with a front page article full of obscene lies. As can be seen from the official rebuttal of the editor of iefimerida.gr, Mr. Christos Raptis, what is reported in today’s paper of “Estia” is dictated figments of the imagination” emphasizes in his statement the deputy minister to the prime minister and government representative Pavlos Marinakis.
“Having now exhausted every method they have employed, they are now turning, once again, against the prime minister’s wife, hoping to achieve their goal – which is none other than to topple the country’s elected prime minister, Kyriakos Mitsotakis » he adds.
Mr. Marinakis points out that they had tried the same in the past, but in the end the truth shone through. “They forget that lies have short legs. Unrepentant, they persist in mud, slander and even do not hesitate to follow again the most immoral tactic which is the targeting of wives and families”, he notes.
“Unfortunately for them and those behind them, the only casualty in this attempted character assassination is their personal credibility. Let’s not discuss journalistic ethics. They have already deleted this from their personal agenda” concludes the government representative.
According to information from the environment of Vangelis Marinakis, the publication of “Estias” is categorically denied, which it considers to be a product of science fiction and states categorically that such a message was neither sent nor was there any intimacy to send it.
The same information states that Mr. Marinakis will take legal action tomorrow.
The publication of “Hestia” is also denied by Christos Raptis, who appears to have seen the alleged sms.
In his text, the journalist Christos Raptis characterizes the publication as a gross lie and says that he will appeal to the courts.
