Ozzy Osbourne is working on a new album and wants to perform again in 2024. The singer has not yet recovered from his operations, but has a bright future. He said this in an interview with on Wednesday NME.
The 74-year-old rock singer has gone under the knife several times in recent years. Last week he announced that he still had one more procedure to go. “It will be the last operation, because I can’t do it anymore. No matter how it turns out after tomorrow, I won’t do it anymore. I can’t do it,” he said.
Things now seem to be going better for Osbourne. “I want to release one more album,” he says. “And then I want to perform again.”
“I just started it,” the singer says of his latest album. “We’ll record it early next year. I really want to take my time this time.”
‘Couldn’t get used to this way of life’
Osbourne also says he feels “okay.” “All the operations are over now, thank God. It just kept dragging on. I thought I would be back to normal months ago and couldn’t get used to this way of life.”
“I can’t walk normally yet,” says the singer. “But I no longer have any pain and the operation on my spine went completely well.”
Osbourne suffered an unfortunate fall in his bathroom in 2019. As a result, the Briton suffered again from injuries he suffered in 2003 in an accident with a quad bike. At the beginning of this year he wanted to stop performing for good.
