Owner of Umm Ziyad Wahba Social Media Channel Arrested for Human Trafficking and Exploiting Children for Profit

She demanded spp By punishing them for what was attributed to them for committing the first crime of human trafficking by dealing with natural persons, who are her children, as she used them by showing them in video clips that she published through her accounts on social networking sites in order to raise her viewing rates in order to obtain from the administrations of those sites excessive profits in exchange for those views.

She indicated that the other defendants participated with her in the two ways of agreement and assistance in committing that crime, as her son agreed with her to show his brothers the aforementioned clips for the same purpose, and he and her husband helped her manage those accounts, film the clips, prepare them for publication, publish them and promote them.

He added that her son managed and facilitated the collection of profits earned from the administrations of the aforementioned social networking sites, in addition to accusing them of committing the crime of commercially exploiting these children – which is punishable by the Penal Code – and exposing them to danger by finding them in a situation that threatens the safety of their upbringing that must be available to them, endangering their morals, and exposing them inside The family is for commercial exploitation, as well as the accused and her husband committing the crime of assaulting family principles and values ​​in Egyptian society.

The Public Prosecution had established the evidence before the defendants through the investigation procedures that it initiated immediately after the spread of the video clip broadcast by the accused last April and upset public opinion, which concluded that she and her son decided to exploit showing her children in the clips that they filmed and published on the channels they run on social media in order to raise The percentage of her views to increase the rates of profits taken from the administrations of those sites in exchange for publication, promotion and viewing, so that she did not care about the clip for which the investigation procedures were taken because of declaring matters affecting the honor and presentation of her children in exchange for attracting more views to her channels, as well as she did not pay attention to the content of the clips that exploit the appearance of her children In it, she only sought to make a profit from it in any way, and her son agreed with her on that, and he and her husband helped her manage those sites and reap profits from the views.

And the Public Prosecution stood on that picture of the incident, which was proven to it by watching the clips published on the aforementioned channels, and what was proven by the admission of the accused and her son in the investigations that they committed the material elements that made up the crimes attributed to them, and their endeavor to publish and show children in the clips to attract viewers and increase profits, as well as what all testified. From her divorced wife and her children who are victims, and the expert of the National Council for Motherhood and Childhood, from the accused’s exploitation of her children to achieve material profits and endanger them, and what was confirmed by the officer of the General Department for Combating Illegal Immigration, whose investigations found that the accused committed the crimes attributed to them.

The Public Prosecution also established evidence before them, which was proven by its examination of the accused’s mobile phone and the materials it contained, and what was proven by the report of the Information Technology Crimes Department that a technical examination was conducted for this phone and the accounts owned by the accused on social networking sites after the Public Prosecution seized them – digitally – during the investigations. .

The Public Prosecution calls on everyone to abandon such behavior committed by the accused, which is alien to the principles, values ​​and traditions of the authentic Egyptian society, alien to it and unfamiliar to it, and to which it was introduced in order to influence the cohesion of the Egyptian family, and push people to corrupt morals and abandon the assets in which they grew up. It was guided by the Egyptians.

The Public Prosecution appealed to the institutions concerned with the security and safety of society in all its aspects to combat such behavior, and to educate people on how to use social media for their benefit and not harm them, and to differentiate between false claims for chaotic freedom of expression, and the disciplined principles of freedom of artistic and literary creativity guaranteed by the constitution, and intended to promote the arts. And literature, which is one of the pillars of society, and one of the reasons for its progress and prosperity.
