Six games of the 18th matchday were on the program of the 3rd division on Saturday. But there was one game in particular that was in focus after the short hibernation – namely the “little” Munich city derby between TSV 1860 Munich and FC Bayern Munich II. The Lions won this clash – thanks to an own goal and thanks to the hero of the day: Marco Hiller. The other Bavarian representative who was in action lost his game – Unterhaching lost the 0: 2 in the far north at Hansa Rostock.

— Four people were the focus of this derby. On the one hand there is FCB veteran Timo Kern, who brought his retro-style colors to losers with an own goal in stoppage time of the first round. On the other hand there is the new lion Merveille Biankadi, who among other things was trained by the opponent and who celebrated his debut goal for 60 in stoppage time of the second round. And last but not least, there are Joshua Zirkzee and Marco Hiller. The youngster of the record champions is currently going through a difficult phase, which is currently experiencing its climax with a foul on the TSV goalie and the associated red card. Although the 23-year-old goalkeeper flowed blood after this clash and he had to be treated for a long time, he kept his box clean – which in a generally rather average game was anything but a walk in the end, especially at the end. Bayern coach Holger Seitz: “With the sending off and the goal conceded shortly before half-time, the game took a direction that we could not correct. We were able to keep order on the defensive, but it is difficult to survive in a derby with one man less Continuing the game we were able to bring the Lions into one or the other good pressing situation. On days like these, however, the pendulum swings to the other side. With the appearance – especially in the second half – I’m very satisfied, not with the result. “

— John Verhoek was the only one who could sign up for the scorer list in this game. Nonetheless, this game was more interesting than the result might suggest. Because both teams showed an attractive fighting performance on a surface that practically excluded playful refinements. Ultimately, the guests could not maintain their good form from the previous year and have to orientate themselves back to the relegation zone. Hansa, on the other hand, jumps to third place. Haching coach Arie van Lent after the game: “It’s just annoying. We lost totally unnecessarily today. Unfortunately, we made it too cumbersome up front, which is why we were very harmless. If we had been more consistent, we would have equalized.” And his counterpart Jens Härtel: “It was a hard-fought game. We always managed to get a leg in between at the right moment. The counterattacks after the lead were sloppy, but on the other hand we were totally in the back. The most important thing is that the three points stay here – soon nobody will ask about anything else. “
