Owen Hargreaves (milieu)
Anglo-Canadian by birth, Owen Hargreaves was trained until he was 18 in Calgary, his hometown in Canada, and joined the Bayern Munich training center when he came of age. He made his professional debut in 2000 and started the following season, crowned with a Champions League. At the same time, Hargreaves decides to play for the English selection (42 caps) and takes the place in the eleven of Steven Gerrard, injured, at the 2002 World Cup. From 2005, the English is in decline at Munich, went through a series of injuries and landed at Manchester United in 2007. He barely had time to discover the Championship and win a second “Big Ears Cup” in 2008, against Chelsea. Regularly injured, the midfielder ended his career in 2012, at Manchester City, with only 28 Premier League matches in total.
