Blizzard is starting to actively interest the public in the second part of Overwatch, so they made a small statement regarding the first part of the shooter.
Overwatch’s servers will Disabled already on 2 October the commercial director of the shooter, John Spector, had talked about it to Eurogamer. The second part will only be released on 4 – players will have to wait more than a day for the second part to be released:
So, about a day before Overwatch 2 launches, we’ll shut down Overwatch’s servers. So October 2nd is really the last day to log in and play Part One of Overwatch.
Overwatch 2 will be released on October 4 on all platforms, the game will be distributed via a shareware model, and the heroes will need to be unlocked via the Battle Pass.
