For the most part, the Overwatch League was streamed exclusively on YouTube, except for one season where it was also streamed via Twitch. Now that the competition is over, Blizzard doesn’t have any major streaming rights to sell, and as you might expect, that means the upcoming Overwatch Champions Series will be broadcast via both YouTube and Twitch.
Each of the games for each of the respective regions will be available on both platforms, and if you link your accounts on those platforms to Blizzard’s systems, you’ll be eligible for a range of rewards for watching the OWCS live, including sprays , skins and name cards.
The OWCS kicks off next week, with the Asian division debuting ahead of the NA and EMEA divisions.
