During the Xbox presentation, we were shown a trailer for story co-op missions for Overwatch 2. The add-on with them was called Invasion and will be released on August 10th. In total, gamers will have access to three tasks, and to complete them, you will have to pay 15 or 40 dollars.
For $15, gamers can purchase the Overwatch 2: Invasion Bundle, which provides “permanent access” to story missions, 1,000 coins, the hero Sojorn, and a skin for him. And for $40, you will get the Null Sector Premium Battle Pass with this set, with the ability to pick up 20 rewards from it at once, another thousand coins, and skins for Cassidy and Kiriko.
Judging by the phrase “permanent access”, the mission can be felt without cash injections, but nothing is said about this on the official website of the developers.
In any case, gamers will definitely not appreciate this Blizzard approach. At first, the company broke its promises and announced that the story missions would be significantly curtailed, and now they are demanding money for them.
