Announced since last November 2019 within BlizzCon, there are few official news that have emerged around the sequel to Overwatch. Situation that is promised will change in the coming months.
Following the recent departure of Jeff Kaplan as head of Overwatch 2, is his successor Aaron Keller who has spoken about what lies ahead for Blizzard’s long-awaited hero shooter.
Keller mentioned that more details will be offered shortly development, which is taking more and more shape after all the feedback from the players.
“Very soon we will share with all of you more frequent updates on the progress of Overwatch 2 and new game features. (…) We have an exceptional vision that we are executing on, the reaction of many of you to the updates we shared on BlizzConline excited us, ”he highlighted.
The new director of Overwatch 2 He was optimistic about the direction the game is taking, highlighting the work of all artists and designers who are involved in the project.

No official release date so far, Overwatch 2 is confirmed for now only for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch and PC.
