There were 2 percent fewer tests. On average it was about 38.922 tests per day. The positiviteitsratio still falling, to 1.4 percent. The R-value then rises slightly again by 12 percent to 0.80. That means that ten infected people infect an average of eight others. If the number is below 1, the epidemic will slow down.

Vaccinations
Meanwhile, the vaccination campaign continues to run smoothly. Almost 6.5 million Belgians (56.3 percent of the total population, 70.2 percent of adults) have a first got a shot, a little more than 3.6 million countrymen (31.3 percent of the total population, 39.2 percent of adults) is fully vaccinated. Between 15 and 21 June, an average of almost 100,000 shots per day were taken.
