Catch a female reporter! China, Eu, don’t be busy – On Dec. 15, the BBC reported that The Chinese government warned the European Union or the EU not to interfere with China’s internal affairs. The case in China arrested Miss Hezfan, a Chinese journalist who worked for Bloomberg news agency last week. It is suspected of being a danger to national security. It is the latest journalist arrested or expelled from China. The EU then released a statement on Dec.12 urging China to release all journalists detained for their coverage. Including calling on China to allow Ms. Fan received medication if needed. This includes the right to access a lawyer chosen by the journalist and to contact relatives.
The Chinese embassy in the EU retaliated on Dec. 13 that the case was under investigation and fully guaranteed Ms Fan’s rights.
