As they say, the most important thing is to take the opportunity when it comes. And it is also said that every coin has two sides. Therefore, it shouldn’t surprise us that when people have to pay huge sums for energy, someone else makes a lot of money.
A truly profitable business
The usual suspects are, of course, companies involved in the production and supply of electricity or gas. But it’s not as black and white as it looks. Even a person who takes advantage of interesting opportunities and even helps people with her activities can get rich right now.
Mr. Mirek from Pardubice worked for a local construction company for ten years. But a year ago he decided to go independent. He brought a few other colleagues with him and started his own company, throwing himself into what he considered the biggest money. “We started installing solar panels in the barracks. Demand has been very good from the start, ie last year too. We were practically profitable immediately,“says Mr. Mirek.
What initially appeared to be a very solid and profitable business soon turned into a veritable gold mine. “It literally broke after a few months. People started bombarding us with requests. Suddenly, everyone wanted their solar panels, and most companies had full capacity. Fortunately, I was able to throw some decent parties that could have got to work right away,”Describes Mirek.
He would never have thought of it
In his life, he said, he would never have imagined how the whole thing would turn out. Even with him, the waiting times for the installation of solar panels exceed three months. In short, there is no shortage of orders, despite constantly raising prices as demand increases. The turnover of his company this year has already exceeded one hundred million crowns and the profit will be in the tens of millions.
“Also last year I was an employee with a salary of fifty thousand scudi, who drove a Škoda,”Smiles Mirek, who now intends to make himself happy and buy a Porsche car. Electricity, of course, because it made him extraordinarily rich.
Electricity from solar panels
Solar panels are currently very popular in the Czech Republic. Even at a time when electricity was not that expensive yet, they paid for themselves in about ten years. Today is much earlier, also thanks to the subsidy granted by the state for their installation. The unconsumed electricity produced by the sun can then be sent to the grid and paid for.
