Overcrowded Beaches Along the Romanian Black Sea Coast: Local Media Reports

The beaches along the Romanian Black Sea coast are overcrowded. This is reported by the local media.

The summer season in Romania reaches its peak in mid-August. During the weekends, about 200,000 people enjoyed the sun and the sea at the resorts in our northern neighbor.

Footage from the sea shows that the sand is barely visible due to the huge crowd of people on the shore, bTV reported.

The view is similar in Spain. Locals complain that umbrellas and towels are placed centimeters apart at resorts in Catalonia.
