Police authorities in Cavite and Quezon provinces have arrested three people suspected of being high-level drug traffickers, seizing a total of more than P1,000,000 ($20,000) worth of marijuana and shabu (crystal meth). Tirso Felizardo was arrested in Barangay Sahud Ulan, in Tanza, Cavite, after he sold two sachets of marijuana to an undercover police officer. Although his associate, Jordan Dolim, was able to escape, ten blocks of dried marijuana leaves weighing 6.5 kilos worth about P780,000 were found. In Quezon, Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency, Lucban Town Police, seized Dennis Sevilla and Aron Jude Quia at 8:50pm on 17 March.
