Jegor (31) and his girlfriend Daisy from ‘Over My Corpse’ have become parents of a son. Tim Hofman (35) goes on a maternity visit.
“I hope we bring him the best so he can deal with it”
“I still find it very strange but also very beautiful,” says Jegor about the arrival of his son Lev. “He determines our lives now. We no longer have a plan.” ‘A nice switch’ according to Tim. Before, there was something else that determined his life. Yegor has a malignant tumor in his brain, but thanks to Lev he can put that aside for a while. “You put all your energy into this. You want him to have a bright future. This is a super distraction. I would recommend it to everyone.”
Lev’s birth has a positive impact on Yegor’s life. “I just want to keep going and I get energy. I now feel that energy with him every day. It’s a kind of urge to let him live.” “You live for someone else,” his girlfriend adds. Jegor admits that having a child makes his life secondary. “If it happens, it happens,” he said of his possible death. “And until then I’ll try to give him the best.” Jegor hopes that Lev will later be able to deal with the fact that his father is no longer there. He also plans to explain to him how life works. “We hope he’s strong. It’s going to make an impact on him.”
Tim is also curious about the baby’s name. Yegor explains: “In Russian and Ukrainian it means lion. My zodiac sign is lion and I live my life as a lion. I hope it is a little lion and grows up to be a big lion.”
Over my dead body can be seen every Tuesday from 9:30 PM on BNNVARA on NPO1.
