A long column of cars formed in front of the Gotthard Tunnel on the Swiss national holiday. The tunnel was temporarily blocked by a broken truck.
There were seven kilometers of traffic jam on Saturday morning between Amsteg and Göschenen. The waiting time in front of the north portal was one hour and 15 minutes. A defective truck had previously blocked the tunnel. It also jammed north, as a reader reporter announced early in the morning.
