Over 900 Kilos of Cocaine Intercepted by Dutch Customs in Middelburg and Vlissingen

MIDDLEBURG – [update 19:41 uur] In cooperation with the police, Customs found 430 kilos of cocaine at a company in Middelburg on Tuesday 6 June during a general inspection.

In addition, Customs intercepted 509 kilos of cocaine in the port of Vlissingen during another regular inspection this afternoon. Customs has received assistance from the Royal Netherlands Marechaussee.

The found cocaine has a total value of more than 70 million euros and has been removed and destroyed.

Both companies where the checks took place today have nothing to do with the intercepted cocaine.
