Over 50 minutes of gameplay from the fan remake of Need for Speed: Most Wanted on Unreal Engine 5

A new video of a fan remake of Need for Speed: Most Wanted on Unreal Engine 5 has surfaced online, showing over 50 minutes of gameplay.

In the latest version of the fan remake, the developer NostalgiaNexus has added AI police, a key element of the NFS: MW game. Thanks to this, the remake began to feel like a full-fledged game, and not just a tech demo for Unreal Engine 5. Textures were also improved and speed effects were added, similar to those in the Xbox 360 A version in addition, the developer improved the sounds of the BMW M3 GT.

The 50-minute video shows a police chase and free movement around the city. NostalgiaNexus also shared a comparison video between the latest version of its remake and the original 2005 game. This will help you see how well the remake looks and plays.

NostalgiaNexus has done an excellent job of recreating the style and design of the original game – this is the logic that a modern remake of NFS: MW should follow, although there does not seem to be interest at EA in doing so.

It is not yet possible to download the fan remake. The developer will probably release it when it is completely ready.
