RAY OF HOPE – IN a single discovery made in the last year, astronomers have found more than 200 planet new outside our solar system.
As of 2022, astronomers have found about 5,000 of them exoplanet. And by the end of 2022, the number had risen to 5,235 exoplanet.
Launch James Webb Space Telescope helped the search find more exoplanet.

Another important research focus is on exoplanet, planet outside of Earth’s solar system.

In a tweet, NASA he said, “We started the year with less than 5,000 planet confirmed extrasolar.”
“We end up with 5,235 known worlds. About 4% are planet rocky like Earth or Mars. What will the new year bring? More planet!” the agency said.
