The Ministry of Health reports that, with a cut-off date of Friday, March 24, according to data from the Department of Health Information Statistics (DEIS), 2,428,766 doses of the COVID-19 Bivalent Vaccine have been administered, corresponding to 29, 17% coverage of the target population estimated at 8,325,856 people.
Of the total doses administered, 213,956 correspond to health personnel under 50 years of age (56.16% coverage); 187,923 people with chronic diseases under 50 years of age (17.77% coverage); 450,284 people between 50 and 59 years old (19.57% coverage); 662,269 to people between 60 and 69 years of age (38.24% coverage); 535,748 to people between 70 and 79 years of age (54.28% coverage); 278,847 to people aged 80 and over (55.81% coverage); and 99,739 people from other prioritized groups under 50 years of age (7.29% coverage).
Regarding the primary vaccination schedules against SARS-CoV-2, which considers a target population of 15,200,840 people aged 18 and over, 94.3% (14,334,879) have completed their vaccination schedule.
During the day of Friday, March 24, of the target group of 18 years and over, 198 people were immunized. Meanwhile, in the target group between 3 and 17 years old, 870 people were immunized.

Regarding the reinforcement doses applied in the population over 3 years of age in the country, a total of 27,523,447 is reached. On the last day, 807 doses were administered, of which 153 correspond to people aged 18 and over, and 654 between 3 and 17 years of age.

In relation to the vaccination of children and adolescents between 3 and 17 years of age, which includes a total of 3,771,960 people, 89.37% (3,371,030) coverage is achieved with a complete scheme. In the group between 12 and 17 years old, 98.6% (1,474,172) of coverage with a complete scheme is registered, while the group between 6 and 11 years old reaches 90.8% (1,407,041), and in the group between 3 and 5 years 67.36% (489,817).
