More than 1,860 vaccines were administered between the months of January and February of this year, by the staff of the Expanded Immunization Program of the “Irma de Lourdes Tzanetatos” Hospital.
According to a statistical report provided by the head of the Nursing Department, 434 hepatitis B vaccines and 425 BCG vaccines were given to newborns, 201 doses of TD were given to adults among users and officials, as well as 129 of MR and 124 of TDAP.
Likewise, the vaccination process continues in this hospital center from Monday to Friday, on weekdays, from 8:00 am to 12:00 pm.
The vaccination schedule is an evidence-based recommendation that allows deciding how communicable diseases can be prevented in different age groups through immunization.
