Over 150,000 Ukrainian Citizens Arrive in Belarus Since February 2022: State Border Committee Report

About 152 thousand Ukrainian citizens have arrived in Belarus since the end of February 2022. This was reported today, January 26, by the State Border Committee of the Republic. P

“Since the beginning of the year, 5,476 citizens of Ukraine have entered our country: in transit through Poland – 3,807, through Lithuania – 1,626, through Latvia – 40, through Ukraine – 3,” the message says.

It is reported that “in total, since February 24, 2022, 151,966 Ukrainian citizens arrived in Belarus from Ukrainian territory: across the Ukrainian-Belarusian border – 15,919, in transit through Poland – 101,595, through Lithuania – 29,876, through Latvia – 4,576.”

Let us remind you that Russia has been conducting a special military operation in Ukraine since February 24, 2022. Belarus does not officially participate in it. At the same time, Minsk announced its readiness to accept Ukrainian refugees into the country.
