Rosbach-Rodheim (pm). A few days ago, the Rodheim volunteer fire brigade, together with the DRK blood donation service, organized the last blood donation appointment of this year in the community center. 132 donors were recorded, including six first-time donors, according to the fire brigade.
As a thank you for their participation, all donors received a bag from Santa Claus Schaub. This each contained an apple, a tangerine, peanuts and walnuts, gummy bears, orange juice and a Santa Claus made of chocolate.
The Rodheim fire brigade thanked the numerous donors this year. With their support, a total of around 250 liters of blood was collected, which is urgently needed in emergency situations and which saves many lives.
The blood donation dates for the coming year have already been set: It is March 7th, June 13th, September 5th and December 5th.
