Abu Dhabi, 10 October / WAM / 102 countries (so far) have announced their participation in the 3 major world championships, organized by the Emirates Judo Federation from 24 October to 3 November, under the patronage of His Highness Sheikh Hazza bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Ruler of the Emirate of Abu Dhabi.
The tournaments witness the participation of more than 1,500 male and female players from various countries around the world, under the supervision of the International Judo Federation and with the support of the Abu Dhabi Sports Council.
The Grand Slam Championship will be held at the Mubadala Arena in Zayed Sports City from October 24 to 26 with the participation of 74 countries (so far), the Kata Championship on October 28 and 29 with the participation of 33 countries, and the Veterans Championship from October 31 to October 3. Next November, with the participation of 58 countries, at the Sorbonne University Hall in Abu Dhabi.
The judo team is currently continuing its preparations in Georgia after the final list was approved by His Excellency Mohammed bin Thaloub Al-Dari, President of the Federation.
