Uninvited guests in a new building on Hügelstrasse in Darmstadt were looking for several ovens, hotplates and freezer combinations.
The perpetrators entered the unoccupied building between Friday (27th) and Tuesday (31st) and stole the kitchen appliances, the value of which is estimated at at least 5,800 euros. In addition, the criminals caused property damage of around 800 euros through their actions.
The police in Darmstadt are investigating theft, looking for witnesses and asking: Who noticed suspicious people or vehicles near the crime scene at the time of the crime? Who noticed the removal of the devices or can provide information on their whereabouts? All relevant information is received from the officers on the phone number 06151/9690.
