In the middle of the match, there was a skirmish, during which Rangers striker Filip Khitil wanted to find out something from Russian forward Evgeny Kuznetsov. Compatriot Alexander Ovechkin stood up for his teammate, who grabbed the guest hockey player from the back and squeezed him in a strong hug, preventing the brawl from flaring up.
Kuznetsov scored twice in the last match and gave two assists, becoming the second star of the meeting.
