Indochina’s concerts are cut out for the great outdoors with maximum use of video, sophisticated lights and a quick energy to raise crowds. It is therefore good news to learn (of course, it will take a year) the arrival of this legendary French group at the Orange Vélodrome, Saturday June 5, 2021.
Indochina is always led by the charismatic Nicola Sirkis, since the 1980s. Associated in the collective imagination with important titles of the new French-speaking wave (The Adventurer, 3 nights per week, 3rd sex, Your black eyes, Canary Bay, I asked the moon…), Indochine was the first French group to fill the Stade de France in 2010. Ten years later, the collective, if it has changed in its composition since the origins, has nothing lost in scale and will therefore set up its “Central Tour”, the tour which celebrates its 40 years of career.
The last, “13 tour”, was sold out, including six AccorHotels Arena. There, the group promises an extraordinary show, produced exclusively in five of the largest stadiums in France, including the Orange Velodrome in Marseille, on Saturday June 5, 2021. A way of imagining finally turning the page on the Covid-19, which has caused the cancellation or postponement of most of the major events in 2020. The sale of tickets should start next September.
