15. Hampstead Heath
320 hectares, 30 lakes … you have everything you want in one of the largest parks in London, including its own noble house, restored and open to visit: Kenwood House. There are several suggested and marked walks of between 7 and 10 kilometers to see it in its entirety.
16. Kew Gardens
Unesco World Heritage Site and proud English Botanical Garden, which “More botanical and mycological species has in the world”, they cry out. The walk above the lake following the path marked by the Sackler Crossing is a good recommendation.
17. The Line
Between the O2 Stadium and the Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park, an open-air arts walk. One of those promenades built to encourage Londoners and tourists to visit less frequented areas, attracted by artworks large, of Anish Kapoor, Abigail Fallis… Lots of instagrammable points, in other words.
18. Wimbledon & Putney Commons y Cannizaro Park
Wimbledon is not just tennis, but if it is the kingdom of lawn tennis, it is because the greenery of the area leaves you speechless and you really want to walk, walk and walk through its more than 400 hectares.
Small, collected, cute compared to other parks in the city. Perhaps for that reason less known, but it is a historical, medieval corner in which Shakespeare he was already walking around looking for inspiration.
