Our young people also receive scholarships

Thanks to more than 200 donors from Latvia, America, Australia, Canada, Great Britain, Venezuela and Sweden, 825 students study at Latvian universities in the new academic year – 290 of them receive scholarships for the first time, 451 scholarship students continue their studies and 84 young people were selected in other competitions . It is planned to pay more than 1.5 million euros in scholarships during the year.

Despite last year’s challenges, donors continue to support Latvian youth on the path to excellence. 2021./2022. 26 young people from Tukums region receive donor scholarships during the school year: Paula Amanda Zagorska (Ata and Balva Bredovskis Scholarship), Alise Evardsone (Jānis Kārkliņš Memorial Scholarship), Elza Anastasija Vasermane (Kristīne Anstrats and Janet Geovanis Scholarship), Signe Petrova (Riga Hanseatic Rotary Club Scholarship), Laura Agneta Pavlovska scholarship), Terēze Baumane (Jura Grava Memorial Scholarship), Margarita Selīna Bogdanova and Estere Karole (Hugo and Mirdzas Karlsson Memorial Scholarship), Jānis Šadauskis (Puratos Latvia Scholarship), Katrīna Grebeško (LPKS “LATRAPS” Scholarship), Atis Ozols Viktorija Solovjova (SEB scholarship), Marta Šteinberga and Annija Jēce (Edvīna Peniķis memorial scholarship), Krišs Aleksandrs Vasermans (SIA “Apsīte” scholarship), Ance Eimane (SIA “Kurekss” scholarship), Diāna Birnere, Marika Ozolniece, Līva Rieksti Rutkis, Sanija Raina Brenča, Evelīna Mileika, Kristiāna Liene Penka, Renāte Pavlova, Rūta Liepa (Gunārs Šterns Memorial Scholarship), Jānis Kazaks (LSC Scholarship).
