Dark energy is to blame for everything
This scenario for the death of the Universe was described by British physicist Mark Cooper. He published an article in The Sun magazine in which he named the timing of the disappearance of the Universe.
Cooper relied on the singularity, which gives many physical characteristics infinity. In his opinion, our Universe can also reach a singularity due to constant expansion. And it is forced to expand by dark energy, little studied today.
If the process continues, then the gravitational field strength, curvature and other characteristics will tend to infinity in about 35 billion years. And before that, all matter in the Universe will go into the plasma state.
Not everyone agrees with Cooper. His opponents believe that the physical singularity and the singularity of a dynamical system, as they say, are two big differences. The scenario for the existence of the Universe may not at all coincide with Cooper’s calculations.
