“If things continue, our losses will be at least 70 million euros, since 70% of the players will leave completely free of charge. We have invested money. We acquired these players before the war. On the one hand, we are losing investments. On the other hand, I still have to pay debts to other clubs that sold us these performers. FIFA didn’t write to us to tell us: “We have introduced this rule, release all the players and let’s discuss with the clubs you owe and somehow resolve the situation,” Palkin said.
