/ world today news/ Things in the economy have become slightly rosy. This is what Prof. Chavdar Nikolov, an economist and lecturer at the Southwest University “Neofit Rilski”, said in an interview with “Focus” Agency.
Economic growth is a wishful statement, one can hardly speak of lasting, consistent and stable growth to get out of the crisis, and it is in a very initial phase. We are in a moment of deflation, and with deflation it is difficult to note such growth, explains Prof. Nikolov.
What is a prospect and was recognized by the business (the management wrote some number for the business without substantiating it) is on an export basis, which is realistic. However, whether it will become real is not clear. Europe itself is too contradictory as a development, although now Germany is going up, although not at a great pace, but it is going. In any case, the paces we plan do not suit us – they are too small. We still continue to lose from domestic demand, which in no way contributes to growth. Things have not turned red, they are slightly pink. They are not so optimistic that we throw our hats in the sky. There is some positive movement, hopefully it will solidify. However, the government is not aware of how to confirm the growth”, says Nikolov.
In his words, the growth is due to external factors. I have been claiming for a long time that Bulgaria will wake up under such a government, as it was before and as it is now, and our economy will be able to wake up and live only under the pressure of external factors, adds Nikolov.
