Our daily covid

Many verified that the good life is not reduced to the obsessive fulfillment of tasks and duties imposed from outside, either by work and study centers, governments or other community entities, but rather requires a broader and more substantial exercise of personal and family privacy. . I tried to express it in a column, written at the height of the pandemic, in which I evoked the famous expression of the Czech novelist Milan Kundera that “life is elsewhere”. That other part encompasses the incomparable pleasures of dialogue and family company, abundant reading and peaceful contemplation of the inner and outer world. That’s what I thought then. And that’s what I still think today, when we have learned to coexist, worse than good, perhaps more bad than good, with the covid-19 pandemic.
