. The educational landscape urgently needs reform. This is what the start-up founder and digital expert Verena Pausder calls for in her recently published book “Das neue Land”. In a conversation with Stephanie Streif, she explains what needs to be different.
BZ: Ms. Pausder, you want a new education for a new country? Do you find what is so bad?
Pausder: No, in general I think our humanistic education system is good. Also its diversity. However, the digital equipping of schools was neglected. Although there is now the digital pact, the funds have hardly been called up so far. If we had an idea of digital teaching, we would also know what to invest in. We didn’t train our teachers digitally either. So where is the knowledge supposed to come from?
