The crew of the Latvian bobsleigh pilot Oskars Ķibermanis took second and third place in the bobsleigh training for the foursome on the third and fourth bobsleigh races of the Beijing Olympic Games on Thursday, respectively.
The fastest in the third practice race was the four-man piloted by Canadian Justin Krips, who reached the finish line in 58.81 seconds.
Kiberman was 0.18 seconds behind Krips in second place, while Christopher Springs of Canada was third and lost 0.29 seconds to the leader.
Krips was also the fastest in the fourth training run, crossing the finish line after 59.22 seconds, leaving behind the Russian Olympic Committee (ROC) spokesman Maxim Andrianov and Kiberman.
Andrianov’s crew was 0.30 seconds behind the Canadian, but Kibermann’s four was 0.31 seconds slower.
It has already been reported that in the first two training runs, the Kibermann crew achieved the eighth and seventh best results.
