Red Bull Salzburg will soon let an offensive talent move towards France.
As the Belgian transfer insider Sascha Tavolieri reports on “Twitter”, Oumar Diakite will leave the Mozart city and play for the French first division team Stade Reims from the coming season.
The striker from the Ivory Coast has signed a five-year contract with the Champagne club. In return, Salzburg will receive 2.5 million euros plus one million in bonuses. In addition, the “bulls” secure a resale share of 20 percent.
Diakite completed the past season in the second division for Salzburg’s farm team FC Liefering. The attacker recorded nine goals and six assists in 23 games.
The 19-year-old striker came from his native ASEC Mimosas in January 2022.
