For fans of rugged battery-powered phones, we’ve brought an interesting feature called the Oukitel WP19, which features a brutal-capacity battery as mentioned in the title, allowing up to 94 days of standby time. Aside from the awesome size of the ax, we are dealing with a mid-range smartphone that is very tolerant of external influences, equipped with a night vision camera and a 90 Hz display, and runs Android 12.
Such a huge battery cannot be installed inside a compact device, and although we do not yet know the exact dimensions, we can certainly expect a heavy and thick design. The display is otherwise 6.78 inches and has 2400 x 1080 pixels, and the IPS LCD panel has a refresh rate of 90 Hz.
In addition to the brutal battery, the Oukitel WP19 enclosure features a MediaTek Helio G95 chipset with 8GB of RAM and 256GB of storage during assembly. The internal storage will not be entirely ours, some will be occupied by the Android 12 operating system running on the mobile.
The smartphone’s biggest throwback is undeniably the brutal 21,000 mAh battery that, according to the manufacturer’s specifications, can provide 122 hours of phone calls or 123 hours of music listening with the aforementioned 94-day standby time. Under normal use, a 1-week operating time can be expected smoothly according to the manufacturer. The only downside to the huge battery is that it can take up to 4 hours to recharge with the 27-watt fast charge supported by the device. Something for something.
As far as the cameras are concerned, we are faced with a fairly fair performance, topped by a 64-megapixel primary recorder, a Sony 20-megapixel infrared / night vision and a 2-megapixel macro module, the latter is unlikely to disturb too much water. The front camera sits in a cutout on the screen with a resolution of 16 megapixels.
Oukitel WP19 dirt withstands durability, which is what gives us the military rating of IP68, IP69 and MIL-STD-810G.
