Holder of a master’s degree in hotel management, after several experiences in the hotel and catering industry, Ouarda Boussandel resumed her studies in 2011 and obtained a degree in banking, insurance and finance from the University of Paris XIII.
She joined the Banque de France in March 2012, and held two positions in Seine-Saint-Denis at the Pantin (serving individuals) and La Courneuve (serving businesses) branches, before taking up her duties in Chartres.
This native of Fez, Morocco, will have the role of assisting the departmental director, Gilles Bonal, alongside other missions.
He is the start-up regional correspondent for the Banque de France in Eure-et-Loir.
“Since my arrival in Chartres, I have been a very small and medium-sized enterprise (TPME) correspondent whose role is to receive or respond to the managers of VSEs and SMEs; to listen to them, understand their problems and direct them towards competent professional networks to provide answers to their needs. I also ensure the local relations of the Banque de France with, in particular, the professional bodies that support VSMEs. I am also a business advisor,” explains Ouarda Boussandel.
Financial education mission for young people
In recent years, the Banque de France has taken on a new civic role by reaching out to young people who perform their universal national service. Last April, Ouarda Boussandel took part in this action which was held at the agricultural school of La Saussaye.
According to Gilles Bonal, departmental director, economic activity is experiencing a real rebound in France
“Furthermore, as part of Financial Education Week, which took place from March 20 to 26, we carried out various actions in colleges, high schools and with associations in the Eure-et – Dormouse. We are continuing our actions to forge partnerships with National Education and promote our missions in the financial education of young people,” adds the new manager.
