Ottawa Public Health Increases Neighborhood COVID-19 Vaccination Opportunities Starting Tuesday

Ottawa Public Health and community health immunization partners continue to make COVID-19 immunization as easy and convenient as possible.

Ottawa Public Health will change the capacity of community clinics for COVID-19 to increase immunization opportunities at the neighborhood level and meet growing demand for the COVID-19 vaccine.

As of Tuesday, September 7, the four community clinics will accept walk-in clients for the first and second doses, between 12:45 p.m. and 7 p.m., Tuesday to Friday, and between 9:45 a.m. and 4 p.m. on Saturday. :

  • Centre Eva-James, 65, promenade Stonehaven
  • Ruddy Family YMCA-YWCA, Orléans – 265, boulevard Centrum
  • Minto Sports Complex in Ottawa – 801 King Edward Avenue
  • JH Putman Public School – 2051 Bel-Air Drive – new clinic location

There are other convenient options for getting vaccinated in your neighborhood:

Transportation support services are available to help you get to and from your appointment.

Workplaces, community organizations, places of worship and other groups can contact Ottawa Public Health to request a mobile vaccination team to administer the first and second doses of the COVID-19 vaccine on site, at their own location.

After being vaccinated, you will receive a confirmation email with proof of vaccination. You can also download a vaccination receipt from Ontario.ca/bookvaccine.

As the vaccine rollout in Ottawa continues – 80% of people born in 2009 or earlier are fully vaccinated – we strongly encourage all eligible people to receive both doses of the COVID-19 vaccine, which is safe, effective. , significantly reduces the risk of infection and decreases the risk of serious results, including hospitalization.
